My go-to “Green Smoothie”

I love green smoothies, and if you want to know why you should too, read here.           


Here is my favourite go-to recipe:

Makes approx. 5 cups (i.e 2 servings)
Time to prepare: 3 minutes

1 cup water
1 cup almond milk
2 big handfuls of spinach
2-3 leaves of kale
1 cup frozen berries
1 – 2 tbs goji berries
1 tbs almond butter
1 tbs coconut oil
1 tbs raw walnuts
1 tbs raw cacao nibs
1 scoop chocolate (or vanilla) Vega protein powder (not pictured)


Directions

In a blender, blend together water, almond milk, spinach and kale until broken down.
Add in the rest of ingredients and blend until desired consistency.
Blend longer for a smoother consistency. Add more water to lessen the thickness.
Enjoy!
